Aromatherapy – A Refreshing Addition to Chair Massage
Definition of Aromatherapy:
“Aromatherapy is a form of alternative medicine that uses volatile plant materials, known as essential oils, and other aromatic compounds for the purpose of altering a person’s mind, mood, cognitive function or health.”
With that said, the use of essential oils does not cure health conditions but helps the body find a way to help cure itself and improve immune response.
Examples of essential oils I use during a session are as follows but are not limited to:
Ailment – Stress
Essential oils used – lavender, bergamot, frankincense, jasmine and ylang ylang.
Ailment – Headache
Essential oils used – peppermint, spearmint and lavender.
Ailment – Exhaustion
Essential oil used – cinnamon
My goal at Tammy’s Tune Up is to provide my clients with the most effective and beneficial session they can receive. It is very rewarding to help people decompress. And now with this tool, to help them heal and restore emotional balance.
